Info Brochure on Legal Billing in Germany
Since July 1, 2004 the new "Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz" (Legal Counsel Remuneration Act) replaces the former "Bundesrechtsanwalts-Gebührenordnung" (BRAGO). The Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (Federal Bar Association) has published a brochure which explains the new system of legal counsel billing.
